Tour Etiquette

To ensure everyone enjoys a safe, fun and friendly event, please adhere to the following guidelines
  • Please leave all pets -- especially dogs -- at home.

  • Please walk gently on coop owner's property, stay on paths when possible, and respect the privacy of their home.  The coops are open to view.  Houses are not!

  • Keep close supervision of children to prevent them from wandering off or getting lost.

  • Some coop stops may have items (eggs, lemonade, water, baked goods, kids' art, etc) for sale.  It is the tour-goers' sole choice to avail themselves to such luxuries.

  • Park where indicated (if so), and please do not park in front of mailboxes.  Make sure you're not blocking anyone in with your vehicle.

  • Restroom facilities are not available at the coop stops.  Please relieve yourselves at an appropriate location between coop stops.

  • If you're so inclined to pick up a chicken, please ask permission from the hen or rooster & its owner first! Please bring along your own hand sanitizer in case you handle chickens.

PLEASE NOTE:  Coop property owners, tour organizers, sponsors, and tickets sellers cannot be held liable or responsible for personal injuries, loss of or damage to property of tour-goers, their children or their guests.  Lock your car, and leave the coops with those (and only those) you brought!
